Lightning struck a line near 10th Ave SW at 8:45 p.m. last evening. The breaker operated once, which blinked all 161 customers on that electrical circuit and then automatically closed back in. Customers included a variety of nearby commercial and residential customers located south of the high school.

Crews worked to resolve the situation by switching those customers to a back-up electrical feed. Full power was restored to these three customers at 2:30 a.m.
