Waverly Utilities Receives Highest Audit Opinion Possible

Waverly, Iowa (June 30, 2017) -  Waverly Utilities received the highest opinion possible on the annual financial audit for the year ended December 31, 2016.

Waverly Utilities’ 2016 revenues were $18,502,077.  Operating expenses were $17,932,250.  These expenses included $10,592,545 for purchase power, $2,113,267 for generation and $1,678,864 in distribution expenses.

A copy of the audit report is available for review at Waverly Utilities, the City Clerk’s office and the Office of Auditor of State.
